Help with the software that runs your Digital Canvas.

What this page covers

CLIO is the software that drives an Eleusis Digital Canvas. It is provided as part of an Eleusis installation and runs on your own system, on site.

This page covers support for CLIO itself. For the physical canvas — panels, mounts, cabling, power, or how the wall was built into the room — contact the dealer or integrator who installed it, or see the main support page.

The parts of CLIO

Knowing which part is misbehaving helps us get to an answer faster. If you are not sure, describe what you saw and we will work it out.

Controller

What you use to operate the canvas day to day — choosing what is shown, adjusting the room, and managing schedules. It runs on your control device and talks to the CLIO server on your own network.

Server

The on-site system that holds your configuration and coordinates everything. It stays on your network. If the Controller cannot find your canvas, this is usually where the problem is.

Player

What actually puts the picture on the wall. Symptoms here look like playback problems — a canvas that is blank, frozen, or not showing what you selected.

Troubleshooting

The Controller cannot find your canvas

This is the most common issue, and it is almost always the network. Work through these in order:

1. Confirm your control device is on the same network as the canvas. A guest network, a separate IoT or VLAN network, or an active VPN will all prevent the Controller from reaching your system, even though everything else on your device works normally.

2. Turn Wi-Fi off and on again on the control device, then reopen the Controller.

3. Check that the canvas system has power and has finished starting up. After a power cut it can take a few minutes to come back.

4. If your network equipment was recently replaced, reconfigured, or renamed, the address of your system may have changed. Contact us — this usually takes one short exchange to correct.

If none of that helps, send us a support request with the details below and we will pick it up.

Troubleshooting

The canvas is blank, frozen, or showing the wrong thing

1. Note whether it affects the whole canvas or only part of it, and whether the Controller still responds. Those two answers narrow the cause considerably.

2. Try selecting something else from the Controller. If the canvas responds, the issue is with the item that was playing rather than the system.

3. Check whether anything changed recently — a power event, a network change, new content added, or a schedule that came into effect.

4. If the canvas is unresponsive, do not power-cycle the panels or any hardware in the rack. Contact us or your installer first. A photo or short video of what the canvas is doing is the single most useful thing you can send.

Troubleshooting

A linked account has stopped working

Signed-in services can expire on their own schedule, usually after a password change, a security review, or a long period without use. Signing in again from the Controller normally restores it.

If the sign-in will not complete, tell us which service it is and what the screen showed. Do not send us your password — we will never ask for it, and we do not need it to help.

Before you write

What to include

Sending these with your first message usually saves a full round trip:

The name shown for your system in the Controller. Where the canvas is installed. What you were doing when the problem appeared, what you expected, and what happened instead. Whether it affects the whole canvas or part of it. Whether anything changed recently — power, network, or content. And a photo or short video if there is something visible to see.
